CLEVELAND — We have a winner! One lucky lottery ticket sold in Middletown, Delaware, has just won the Powerball jackpot worth $231 million in the latest drawing that was held on Monday, April 6, 2026.
Powerball officials say the jackpot-winning ticket was purchased at Acme on 460 East Main Street in Middletown.
“The Delaware Lottery urges the ticket holder to sign the back of the ticket, keep it in a safe place, and contact the Lottery office to begin the claims process,” according to a press release on Powerball’s site. “Delaware Lottery officials note that more information will be shared once the prize is officially claimed.”
Here in Ohio, lottery officials say there was one winner who hit a big prize worth $100,000 after buying their lucky ticket from Slavic Village Bi-Rite on Fleet Avenue in Cleveland.

Powerball officials say there was also one winning ticket worth $2 million sold in Texas.
The winning numbers were 7, 24, 37, 42, 57 and Powerball 5. The Power Play option was 2x.
The jackpot now returns to its starting point of $20 million for the next Powerball drawing, which is set for Wednesday, April 8 at 10:59 p.m. That prize has a cash option worth $9.1 million.
