Ariana Grande will not appear in American Horror Story Season 13

In an exclusive announcement, it has been confirmed that pop icon Ariana Grande will not be a part of FX’s upcoming Season 13 of American Horror Story, which premieres on September 24. The reasons for her absence stem from conflicting schedules. Grande’s ongoing Eternal Sunshine Tour coincides with the production dates for the renowned horror anthology series. Consequently, she was unable to participate in the filming and did not shoot any scenes for this season.

The announcement comes on the heels of prior adjustments made to Grande’s tour schedule, where select concerts were rescheduled. Notably, her performance at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center was moved from July 12 to July 14, and shows in Boston originally set for July 22 and July 24 were subsequently shifted to July 23 and July 26. Grande’s tour is set to continue with forthcoming stops in prominent cities, including New York, Chicago, and London.

While FX and the show’s producer, 20th Television, have declined to comment on Grande’s exit from the cast, her absence has not gone unnoticed. In her stead, two surprise additions to the cast were revealed: Frances Conroy and Alex Consani, raising anticipation for the new season.
