CLEVELAND — It was a very lucky St. Patrick’s Day for one lottery player in Ohio who just hit the Mega Millions jackpot worth $60 million from the drawing on Tuesday, March 17, 2026.
Ohio Lottery officials say the winning ticket was sold at Tyler’s Short Stop at 714 East Main Street in Van Wert, which is in Northwest Ohio close to the Indiana state line.
The winning ticket was an auto-pick, matching all of the winning numbers: 4, 11, 18, 38, 50 and Mega Ball 24.
But that’s not all… There were thousands of various prizes hit throughout Ohio:
The jackpot now returns to its starting point of $50 million with a cash option worth $22.6 million for the next drawing, which takes place at 11 p.m. on Friday, March 20.
In the new version of the Mega Millions game, which began last year in April, lottery officials say the odds of winning the jackpot have improved from one in 302,575,350 to one in 290,472,336.
