Elon Musk company reveals decision on proposed Denver tunnel – KUSA.com

A proposed tunnel would connect the Ball Arena property to Elitch Gardens, the neighboring amusement park also owned by KSE.

DENVER — Elon Musk’s tunneling company apparently didn’t dig a proposed project at Denver’s Ball Arena — at least not enough to pick it as a winner in a nationwide contest.

The Boring Co. overnight revealed tunnels proposed in Baltimore, Dallas and New Orleans won its Tunnel Vision contest in which it promised to complete the tunnel-digging projects for free.

The Bastrop, Texas-based company, in a tweet on Musk’s X social media platform late Monday, announced the winners from a group of 16 finalists and said the company would begin due diligence on the projects in the three chosen cities.

The Boring Co. also said it was intrigued enough by tunneling contest entries from Hendersonville, Tennessee, and in San Antonio, Texas, that it would try to work with local officials to see those projects get built.
