According to a media source, Singhania, a Dallas entrepreneur, was in Los Angeles for a work trip when he used a hookup app, Pure, to connect with a woman in Santa Ana. Unbeknownst to him, this interaction turned into a highly publicized sting operation led by internet provocateur Vitaly Zdorovetskiy on the Kick platform, aimed at exposing individuals believed to be engaging in predatory behavior.

During the operation, which was livestreamed and viewed by over 24,000 people, Zdorovetskiy accused Singhania of attempting to engage with a minor. He referred to Singhania using inflammatory language while his team claimed that the woman was a paid decoy who led Singhania to believe she was underage. In a shocking turn of events, police responded to the scene, arrested Singhania, and posed for photographs with Zdorovetskiy before releasing him shortly after, citing that he was simply “in the wrong place at the wrong time.”

Singhania denies any wrongdoing, maintaining that the decoy did not disclose her age and that a purported incriminating Snapchat message was not sent from his account.
