Traffic resumes smoothly on I-64 in Chesapeake after disruptions from police activity on Saturday, as all lanes and exits reopen.
CHESAPEAKE, Va. — Drivers traveling through Chesapeake on Interstate 64 near the Interstate 464 interchange are moving smoothly following earlier police activity Saturday, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
The incident occurred near mile marker 291.9. VDOT reports that all lanes, including the eastbound exit at mile marker 291A, have since reopened.
