The New Year Newborns: The first babies born at Northeast Wisconsin hospitals in 2026 – WLUK
(WLUK) — While many were enjoying big bashes to ring in 2026, some others began the new year with little bundles of joy.
Hospitals across Northeast Wisconsin are welcoming their first babies of the new year.
In Green Bay, mother Grace welcomed her son Sawyer at 1:30 a.m. He was born at HSHS St. Vincent Hospital, weighing 5 pounds and 14 ounces, measuring 19 inches long.

The first baby to be born at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Neenah is Lincoln. He was born at 2:30 a.m. to Brook and Luke. Lincoln was born weighing 7 pounds, 10 ounces and measuring 21 inches long.

At 3:13 a.m., Iyahni Rae was born to mom and dad, Shante and Chris, at the Aurora Medical Center in Manitowoc County, weighing 8 pounds and 4 ounces.

Later in the morning, at 6:16 a.m., Liam was born to parents Sofia and Armando at Emplify Health by Bellin.
