Born on November 30, 1968, in Brooklyn, New York, McFadden chose to pursue a career in comedy as a means of escape from the challenges posed by his upbringing in a public housing project. His breakthrough moment came in 1991 when he made his television debut on HBO’s influential “Def Comedy Jam.” Following this success, he relocated to Los Angeles, where he secured appearances in a variety of television shows including “Martin,” “Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper,” “Moesha,” and “Coach,” expanding his portfolio in the entertainment industry.
McFadden’s legacy is particularly intertwined with “In Living Color,” where he became a staple during the series’ fifth and final season from 1993 to 1994.
