In a significant collaboration, a media source and CNN are joining forces to launch the latest season of the acclaimed interview series, “Actors on Actors.” This enduring series, now entering its 24th season, showcases some of the most prominent contenders for this year’s Emmy Awards, promising compelling conversations that explore the intricacies of acting and storytelling.

Scheduled to air starting June 3, the series will feature a diverse lineup of pairings, including Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow, known for their iconic roles in “Friends,” and Kit Harington alongside Peter Dinklage from the celebrated series “Game of Thrones.” The series aims to foster engaging discussions among talents such as Tracy Morgan and Marcello Hernández from “Saturday Night Live,” Kerry Washington and Tony Goldwyn from “Scandal,” as well as Elizabeth Banks and Josh Hutcherson from “The Hunger Games,” among others.

Ramin Setoodeh, co-editor-in-chief and co-president of the media source, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, highlighting the potential for these interviews to resonate with audiences and generate viral discussions. The special issue of the media source dedicated to “Actors on Actors” will hit newsstands on June 3, featuring a stunning portfolio shot by renowned photographer Mary Ellen Matthews. The video conversations will be released daily starting that date, initially streaming on CNN’s platform, before being made available on the media source’s YouTube page later in the day.

The schedule for this year’s inspiring pairings is set as follows: On June 3, Jennifer Aniston will sit down with Lisa Kudrow, followed by a new pairing each subsequent day until June 15, including insights from stars of various acclaimed television programs.

Reflecting on the previous season, it is worth noting that “Actors on Actors” achieved substantial success, amassing a record 247 million social views last December, highlighting its resonance with viewers and its impact within the entertainment industry.
