WWE’s ‘Main Event’ Shifts from YouTube to Rumble
The popular WWE series “Main Event” will soon transition from YouTube to Rumble, a video sharing platform that has gained recognition for hosting diverse content. As per information from a media source, the switch will take effect on October 14, with new episodes premiering weekly on Wednesdays at 8 PM ET/5 PM PT. Fans can expect to access the show through Rumble.com/WWE, as well as various connected mobile and television applications, marking a significant addition to Rumble Sports’ programming lineup.
Launched in 2012 on Ion Television, “Main Event” has cultivated a dedicated following over the years, evolving through different platforms such as Hulu, WWE Network, and Peacock before landing on YouTube in early 2026. The show features a lineup of WWE stars from the organization’s prominent brands, including Raw, SmackDown, and NXT. Over the years, it has showcased renowned talent such as CM Punk, Roman Reigns, Charlotte Flair, Randy Orton, and Cody Rhodes, reflecting WWE’s legacy in professional wrestling.
Alex Varga, executive vice president at WWE, emphasized the importance of adapting to a digital-first audience. He noted that Rumble has established an inviting platform poised to deliver premium sports and entertainment programming to fans. The partnership aims to leverage Rumble’s access and reach, aligning with WWE’s vision of enhancing viewer experiences.
Claudio Ramolo, Rumble’s chief content officer, also underscored the significance of adding WWE’s programming to their offerings. He stated that WWE content consistently ranks among the most-watched in various media landscapes, including television and streaming platforms. This alignment with Rumble signals a commitment to delivering high-quality entertainment to a growing user base, effectively tapping into the ever-evolving demands of sports and entertainment viewers.
Founded in 2013, Rumble saw an uptick in its user base during 2020, when it appealed to individuals advocating for free speech amid claims of censorship on mainstream platforms. In recent years, Rumble has expanded its capabilities to include innovations in artificial intelligence and infrastructure, diversifying its content and audience further.
With the transition of “Main Event” to Rumble, fans can look forward to an ongoing evolution of wrestling entertainment in the digital landscape.
