This tool is designed to automate the installation of DLSS 5’s Neural Rendering technology into various video games, including those that have not received official support for the feature. Utilizing a straightforward user interface, individuals can either manually drag and drop a game into the application or allow it to scan their drives for installed titles.

For games that already incorporate DLSS, the swapping process is relatively seamless. In contrast, for titles lacking built-in DLSS support, the application leverages a community-developed mod called DLSS5-Feeder. This mod emulates the necessary DLSS calls to activate Neural Rendering, while also integrating ReShade for the depth buffer and motion data essential for the functionality of DLSS. Notably, this combination of tools reportedly works across a wide range of titles, spanning from DirectX 9 through DirectX 12, and even includes several emulators such as PCSX2, Dolphin, and Xenia.

Perhaps most intriguingly, DLSS 5 Swapper extends its capabilities to NVIDIA’s RTX 20-series and RTX 30-series graphics cards, a move that allows users to bypass the requirement of using NVIDIA’s latest RTX 50-series.
